Spider coupling is a spider-shaped flexible non-metallic element whose hardness can be adjusted. Spider coupling is embeded into the two semi-couplings to realize the connection of two semiaxis devices. It has the characteristics of compensating the relative displacement of the two axes, reducing vibration and buffering, providing simple structure and easy maintenance without lubrication.
Spider couplings are used for connecting a wide range of equipment including pumps, compressors, gear reducers, line shafts, conveyors and most types of rotating machinery. Spider couplings are quick and easy to install.
Material: Depending on working environment, appropriate material (PU, NBR, etc.) could be chosen.
Product properties:
Size: As per customer’s drawings

Spider coupling consists of three parts: two metallic hubs and an elastomer insert, which is referred to as a ‘Spider coupling’. These three parts fit together, with a jaw from each hub fitted to each lobe. During compression, torque is transmitted through the elastomer lobes.
